The Whitehill Trust is a grant making body established in 2008 in Aberdeenshire.
It is a registered charity, with the objectives of:
· promoting and supporting for the benefit of the community, the provision and maintenance for the treatment and rehabilitation of problematic alcohol users and such procedures and ancillary services relating thereto within the Aberdeenshire area
· to use its income or such part or portion of its income as the Trustees deem appropriate or, in certain circumstances, its capital and to do all things as will properly attain the above purposes.
· Positively changing public behaviour and local drinking culture to help reduce alcohol misuse and minimize alcohol-related harm.
· Increasing awareness and understanding of the role of alcohol in society, enabling individuals to make informed choices about their drinking.
· Helping to provide treatment or counselling of people who are already alcohol dependent, and their families.
